Apple Violates Copyright By Making Bitcoin White Papers Available On Macbooks, Says Satoshi

Apple Violates Copyright
Dr. Craig Wright, a self-described Satoshi Nakamoto, claimed that Apple had violated copyright laws by integrating the Bitcoin white paper into its macOS operating systems.

Wright responded to a message that suggested Apple might be violating copyright on Twitter. After it was discovered that the Bitcoin white paper is buried deep inside new MacBooks, the computer scientist was also asked to weigh in on the situation. Even though suing Apple would almost certainly fail or be counterproductive given the company's financial and legal resources, some on social media have openly encouraged Wright to do so.

White Paper on Bitcoin hid inside MacBooks

Finbold reported that the initial discovery was made by tech writer Andy Baio. He discovered that a copy of White's paper has been secretly hidden in Apple's macOS since the release of Mojave. The self-proclaimed Satoshi is known for his controversial approach to enforcing intellectual property rights over Bitcoin and its underlying technology.

Patent trolling is the filing of many patents at once, in this case for Bitcoin and blockchain technology. Wright hopes to have legal authority over the further development and use of the technology. It allows individuals or companies to take legal action against other companies to protect their intellectual property. Because of this, they demand expensive licenses and license payments and can face costly litigation.
