BAYC and MAYC Floor Prices Volume Jumps Up
BAYC saw $78.26 million in seven-day trading volume among 434 traders, up by 150 percent. The number of traders has also gone up by 101 percent, alongside an increase of 122 percent in sales.
The overall market valuation of BAYC currently stands at $2.73 billion with a floor price of around $273,420 but the average price today is $287,740 per BAYC.
Similarly, Bored Ape Yacht Club spinoff Mutant Ape trading volume recorded $93.02 million this past week which is up 93 percent among 2,234 traders. Currently, MAYC’s floor price stands at $59,180 per NFT, but it’s selling today for $54,270 on average.
MAYC is an NFT collection of 20,000 mutant apes that’s created by tethering a BAYC to mutant serum or during the public sale’s mint process. To date, there have been approximately 7,623 mutations. Overall, the project has seen $707 million in all-time trading volume.
The most expensive Bored Ape sale this past week was sold for $1.64 million five days ago for BAYC #3562. Meanwhile, Eminem’s recent BAYC purchase was this week’s 30th most expensive BAYC sale. On January 2, Mutant Ape #2209 got sold for $102,000 while MAYC #4627 bagged $100,000 the same day.
