The organization aims to expand its markets in Latin America, Europe, and Asia. FTX would first concentrate on Latin American nations, emphasizing European states by year's end and Asian countries by next year. The FTX Card would enable customers to make purchases using money from their FTX accounts. The card may be used at any business that takes Visa debit cards.
According to FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried, this card enables customers to utilize their FTX cryptocurrency funds 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, safely and without administrative or processing costs.
It is unknown if FTX would offer benefits for using the card in the same way that Coinbase, a competitor, does. Coinbase offers cryptocurrency prizes like Bitcoin to US customers who use its Visa debit card. The company that issues FTX's cards in the US is Evolve Bank & Trust. The cryptocurrency exchange withheld evidence from its financial partners for its efforts to expand internationally.
According to the Director of Crypto at Visa, Cuy Sheffield, the company continues to expand its cryptocurrency relationships. He thinks that digital currencies would significantly influence the development of financial services and money transportation. He further stated,
"We're excited to partner with leading crypto exchanges like FTX to bring more flexibility and ease-of-use to the way people use their crypto - unlocking the ability to use a crypto balance to fund purchases anywhere Visa is accepted."
