Gal Gadot Among Investors in Cardano’s AdaSwap Project

The first-ever decentralized exchange on Cardano blockchain AdaSwap has announced on raising $2.6 million in the latest funding round with participation from actress Gal Gadot.

Wonder Woman Backs Cardano Protocol

According to an official announcement, AdaSwap has raised $2.6 million in a funding round with investment from VC firms and angel investors such as iAngels, Shima Capital, Pluto Digital, GBV, Stardust, Efficient Frontier, Finova, Banter Capital, and Coti.

Alongside these investors includes model, and actress Gal Gadot and her producer husband Jaron Varsano. Announcing the news, Cardano founder, Charles Hoskinson, welcomed Wonder Woman to the Cardano 'family'.

Meanwhile, Gadot and Varsano called their investment an 'exciting opportunity in the crypto space'.

Gadot is best known for her portrayal of DC Comics character Wonder Woman and for her roles in movies such as Justice League, Batman v. Superman, Fast & Furious, Cleopatra, and others.

Building the Best DEXs on Cardano

AdaSwap will use the funding amount to build the best-decentralized exchange on Cardano. In addition to developing DEXes, the fresh funds will also be used to build an exclusive NFT marketplace with curated collections from famous artists in the NFT/art space.

Additional features in the pipeline include building staking and fixed, long-term, and high-yield liquidity pools. These applications will enable DEX users to stake tokens, buy and sell NFTs and earn interest on ADA.
