A new documentary titled “Project Iceman” follows the journey of Anders Hofman, the first person to ever complete an Ironman on Antarctica who will this time in the film complete the first long-distance triathlon in Antarctica is being funded entirely by NFT sales.

The trailer for Iceman shows Hofman attempting a 3.9-kilometer (2.4-mile) swim in ice water, a 180-kilometer (112-mile) bike ride across a glacier, and a 42.2-kilometer (26.2-mile) run in Antarctic conditions, including blizzards.

The idea for NFT raise for "Project Iceman" comes after the producers of Iceman turned down a $1.25 million offer from a major streaming platform. According to them, the platform provided "limited creative freedom." Instead, the project will now build a community around the film, with participants becoming "investors and digital owners of the film."

The perks from the NFT raise includes accessing to 1 of 10,000 Limited Premiere Tickets to the film's virtual and physical premieres, 226 NFTs that include tickets to red carpet premieres, pre-access to future events and NFT drops, owning a part of the film, to becoming a producer among others.
