According to the Tokyo-based technological powerhouse announcement, the Mocopi kit will go on sale in January 2023 for a reasonable price of 49,500 yen ($360). If Sony chose this route to penetrate the metaverse business, it would be taking a big risk. Sony wants to use its affordable products to enter the wearables sector and get a presence in the global gaming and peripherals sector.
