World of Women is Bringing NFTs to Airports Across the Globe

World of Women NFTs, in collaboration with blockchain-based non-profit CODE GREEN and private airport operator Vinci Airports, is organizing the first-ever NFT exhibition worldwide in more than 20 airports simultaneously this international women’s day.

The digital collectibles will be displayed in a global network of airports including Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, France, Japan, Portugal, and Serbia. Around 22 artists will be participating in the ground-breaking collaboration.

Commenting on the development, World of Women Co-Founder & artist, Yam Karkai said:

“At World of Women, we like to have an impact beyond the NFT Space. And we believe that this is an example of us realizing this, by being able to curate and participate in this first-ever worldwide NFT exhibition, besides talented artists.”

VINCI Airports develops, finances, builds, and manages airports and possesses the technical know-how in optimizing operational performance, infrastructures, and managing their operations and environmental transition. The private airport operator manages approximately 53 airports in 12 countries.

Code Green is a tech non-profit that harnesses the disruptive forces of blockchain technology, and creative art.

Meteoric Rise of World of Women NFTs

The World of Women (WoW) collection includes a series of 10,000 diverse female avatars that has made many celebrity holders such as Reese Witherspoon, Shonda Rhimes, Eva Longoria and Huda Kattan. The collection has seen a meteoric rise to the top of the NFT charts since its launch in November and has a current floor price of 6.9 ETH worth $17,000 on secondary marketplace OpenSea.
