On December 21, the Twitter Business account introduced a new feature that is an enhancement to "$Cashtags."
The account stated that consumers would see a clickable link that brings them to search outcomes that now contain the pricing graphs for those symbols anytime one tweets the symbol of a significant stock, exchange-traded fund, or cryptocurrency with $ that precedes it. Additionally, it mentioned that accessing the price graph by merely typing in the ticker symbol, whether for stock or cryptocurrency, is possible.
Elon Musk, CEO of Twitter, reposted the news of the new function shortly after, on December 22, and noted that it is one of several product upgrades heading to financial Twitter. At the time of writing, it seems that BTC and ETH represent the only two cryptocurrencies having price charts. The list does not include some of the most popular cryptocurrencies, such as Musk's favorite, Dogecoin.
Twitter Business, however, stated that it plans to increase the number of crypto symbols it supports and enhance the user experience in the upcoming weeks.
