Walt Disney’s ESPN has entered into a multi-year agreement with Tom Brady’s co-founded NFT platform Autograph. The announcement shared by ESPN on Wednesday stated that the collaboration will launch with an NFT collection drop on April 6.
The Co-founder and CEO of Autograph, Dillon Rosenblatt stated in the announcement,
“As the first NFT partner for ESPN, the possibilities across sports and technology are endless, and we couldn’t be more excited to get this content out to the world in a massive way.”
It must be pointed out that all the NFTs of the collection are minted on Polygon, the scaling solution for Ethereum.
The “Man in the Arena: Tom Brady Collection” of NFTs can be viewed on the Web3 brand Autograph, and one can purchase it on the DraftKings Marketplace. The NFT collection consists of stories about Tom Brady and magazine covers from ESPN’s special December edition.
Additionally, the release of the NFT collection coincides with the docuseries by ESPN that can be availed on the entire Disney Bundle. Post the documentary, a second “Back in the Arena” NFT collection will be dropped.
