$APE Breaks Record of the Most Traded Token in 24 Hours

Earlier this month, the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT announced its cryptocurrency known as ApeCoin, an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum Blockchain. ApeCoin has been widely accepted and listed by major crypto exchanges like FTX, Binance, Gemini, Kraken, Coinbase Global, and the first Indian crypto platform Giottus as well.

ApeCoin Becomes Most Traded Cryptocurrency

Launched on March 17, 2022, by ApeDAO, the ApeCoin token emerged as the “most traded cryptocurrency” in the past 24 hours. Amidst the top ten tokens purchased and utilized as smart contracts by Ethereum whales, ApeCoin proudly stands second.

Information about the advances in the leading position of tokens was tweeted by WhaleStats, a crypto analytics platform.

Earlier the coin has also retweeted Time Magazine's tweet about accepting payments in APECOIN for digital subscriptions soon.

What Can You Do With ApeCoin?

ApeCoin is a decentralized token that will be utilized primarily for payments and transactions within the Web3 application. APE has been widely gaining popularity and is being accepted in various sectors as well.

An Animoca Brands developed game Benji Bananas is in plans to adopt ApeCoin as an in-game currency. SaltWater Brewery based out of Florida has also decided to accept APE payments. Presumably, this marks the beginning of the ecosystem powered by APE. The cryptocurrency token has the potential to be adopted in a variety of upcoming projects.
