BAYC Creators to Launch A New Bitcoin NFT Project

Yuga Labs, the company behind Bored Ape Yacht Club or BAYC NFTs, has revealed a new Bitcoin NFT project called TwelveFold. TwelveFold will consist of 300 generative NFT artworks created on the Bitcoin blockchain.

BAYC Bitcoin NFT Project to Combine Hand-Drawn Graphics with Blockchain

The way data is stored on the Bitcoin blockchain, the 12x12 grids that make up the pieces will combine hand-drawn features with 3D graphics. Yuga's in-house art team designed and created the project. The company stated that the project has no connection to its Ethereum-based intellectual property and will have no future interactions or use in that regard.

Bitcoin NFT is a relatively recent development that swept the community, despite the fact that their inventor believes they were discovered rather than invented. Additionally, their emergence sparked a heated debate about whether the Bitcoin blockchain should remain "pure" or whether it should even exist. 

TwelveFold NFT Collection A Surprise

Due to the popularity of Etheurm-based NFT marketplaces and faster transaction times, new NFT collections typically launch on Ethereum. Yuga Labs has not expressed any interest in creating another NFT collection in recent months, especially on Bitcoin's blockchain.

All TwelveFold NFTs will be immutable. To create a Twelvefold NFT a Bitcoin address and wallet must be owned by each individual.
