The recently signed partnership agreement has resulted in Binance becoming the official cryptocurrency exchange partner for the first time in history. As the official partners of the 64th Annual Grammy Awards, Binance aims to provide evolving technology to the organization.
Binance co-founder Yi He stated,
"Starting with the GRAMMYs, we are excited to work together with the Recording Academy to bring fresh new experiences powered by blockchain and all the great things Web3 technology can bring to entertainment."
Particularly, Web 3 solutions and experiences to members, events, initiatives; especially the upcoming inaugural Recording Academy Honors celebration.
This is the second signed deal in the crypto space by the Recording Academy in the recent few months. Last November, the Academy partnered with OneOf, an NFT platform to release NFTs on the Tezos Blockchain for the 64th, 65th, and 66th Grammy Awards.
The co-president of the Recording Academy, Panos. A. Panay stated that the Academy is always eager to explore monetization avenues and create new experiences for fans.
