According to an official blog post on Thursday, Binance is launching a new platform called Binance Institutional for VIP and institutional users, in an effort to upgrade its institutional offerings and services.
The platform offers customized solutions for all types of institutional users, including corporates, asset managers, brokers, hedge funds, family offices, liquidity providers, proprietary trading firms, miners, high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), and more.
Binance Institutional will offer digital asset solutions such as execution and over-the-counter (OTC) services, asset management and custody, broker program, and liquidity program. It also plans to offer institutional-grade products and services such as Trading Solutions, Yield Products, Professional Services as well as Data and Reporting.
Earlier yesterday, Binance signed an exclusive multi-year NFT partnership with football legend Cristiano Ronaldo.
Under the new partnership, multiple NFT collections will be released each year. The collections will be available exclusively on the Binance NFT platform with the first collection to be released in the latter part of the year. However, the firm did not give a specific launch date with the financial terms of the agreement also remaining unknown.
Binance has managed to remain unaffected amid the ongoing crypto market turmoil without cost-cutting efforts and is reportedly on a hiring spree. This is in stark contrast to other major cryptocurrency exchanges which have announced major layoffs.
