The BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) network upgrade, and Binance will support a hard fork. The BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) network upgrade and a hard fork will occur at the BNB Smart Chain block height of 18,907,621, or around 2022-06-22 08:00 UTC (UTC). Starting about 2022-06-22 07:00, deposits and withdrawals on the BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) network will be halted (UTC).

Network Upgrade Will Not Affect BNB Network

During the network upgrade and hard fork, trading tokens available on the BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) network will not be affected. The BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) network upgrade and a hard fork will occur at the block height of 18,907,621 on the BNB Smart Chain. The estimated time is provided solely for the convenience of the users. Binance will handle all technical requirements for all users. Due to the BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) network upgrade, a hard fork will not issue any new tokens. Once it is determined that the updated network is stable, Binance will reopen deposits and withdrawals for the BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) network and will not notify users in a separate announcement.

BNB Smart Chain Mainnet Euler Upgrade Announcement

At a block height of 18,907,621, the BNB Smart Chain Mainnet is planned to have a scheduled hard fork update termed Euler. This is expected to happen around June 22, 2022, around 08:00, according to the current block generation speed (UTC). By June 22, validators and full node operators should have upgraded their software to version 1.1.11.
