Blockchain.com, a cryptocurrency exchange, and wallet announced on Friday that users powered by Unstoppable Domains would be able to purchase ".blockchain" domain names. All 82 million registered Blockchain.com customers will be able to get free. Blockchain domain from the company's wallet service, according to the statement. Instead of the conventional long-string alphanumeric wallet addresses, these domain names will allow users to deal in crypto using human-readable addresses.

Users of Blockchain.com's Unstoppable Domains service will be able to modify their domain names or acquire additional. Each platform domain name is a non-fungible coin created on the Polygon Ethereum Layer 2 network.

Our partnership with Unstoppable Domains marks the first custom top-level domain (TLD) and gives us a unique way to share the .blockchain name with the millions of users of the Blockchain.com Wallet."

Unstoppable Domains also announced on Friday that. Blockchain domains will be accessible through the company's website. Once a person has claimed an NFT domain name, the user owns it perpetually. The company uses the Polygon blockchain to mint the NFT domain names, and there are no minting or renewal fees associated with the name.

Unstoppable Domains formerly collaborated with Coinbase to provide ".crypto" domain names to Coinbase wallet users.
