BLOX Gets Registered As First Crypto-Focused Firm in Netherlands

BLOX
BLOX crypto exchange has just got approval to operate in the Netherlands. It is revealed that with this approval, this exchange becomes the first crypto-focused firm that will enter into the registry of the Dutch Central Bank. It has been revealed by the exchange through a blog post on November 6, 2020.

In the Netherlands, it is a must for any company to get registered before it lets the users buy, sell, or hold cryptocurrencies. Now, the investors based in the country will be able to easily invest in cryptocurrencies without worrying about regulations.

BLOX Allows Users to Make Low-Cost Investment in Cryptocurrencies

BLOX will help the users to invest in different cryptocurrencies with a very low investment. As per the company’s blog post, the users will be able to invest in their favorite crypto starting from €1. According to the Dutch Central Bank, cryptocurrency will now be accessible to the general public across the country.

AMDAX BV, a crypto service provider based in the Netherlands also became quite popular in the previous month. This firm majorly focuses on larger investors which include both businesses as well as private investors.

Crypto Services Firms Moving to the Netherlands

Being on the approved crypto services provider list was not enough for BLOX as it has also got registered from the De Nederlandsche Bank NV, which is the central bank of the country. There is another crypto exchange named Anycoin Direct, which got registered with the Netherlands' central bank.

Even though different companies seem to be moving to the Netherlands, some seem to avoid it. Deribit, a digital asset derivatives exchange, moved out of the country in January 2020. According to the firm, the reason for moving out is that they do not want to face the new regulations. However, different crypto firms moving to the country indicates that the Netherlands is now opening up to wider crypto adoption.
