Brave Browser Added Solana-Based DApps in its Version 1.41

Brave Browser
According to a statement made earlier on Tuesday, the Solana-based decentralized applications are now supported by the cryptocurrency-focused web browser Brave in version 1.41. The most current integration in the updated browser makes it possible to access Web3 and decentralized financing more conveniently.

The two most well-known dApps in the Solana ecosystem are the cryptocurrency music app Audius and the Solana NFT marketplace Magic Eden. The integration of dApps is currently only supported by the browser's desktop version. The announcement states that Brave will soon allow support for the mobile version.

Solana Capable of Eroding Ethereum's Market Share

Brave topped 50 million active users in January. The web browser, which Brendan Eich, a former CEO of Mozilla, invented, needed about five years to reach the milestone. The ability to receive prizes for seeing advertisements is the browser's key selling point.

In 2019, Brave browser made it possible to withdraw its ad earnings. Eich stated that the Solana integration significantly lower fees for Brave's user base. According to Bank of America, Solana is completely capable of eroding Ethereum's market share and growing into a sizeable investor. The native cryptocurrency supporting the browser ecosystem, Basic Attention Token (BAT), is presently ranked 67th by market capitalization. Over the past 24 hours, it has dropped by more than 2%.
