It has been officially revealed that Cardano blockchain is planning to power AI modules of a humanoid robot called Grace. Well, the demand for this robot is not even an issue as eldercare robotics has witnessed a huge boost due to the pandemic.
Grace has the potential of stimulating 48 facial muscles while being equipped with powerful AI, which allows it to have meaningful social interactions with patients. As said, the integration of Cardano will dramatically enhance the performance of the robot, which means that it will take comparatively less time to process biodata.
Above everything, Cardano will be making it more secure and private in order to protect medical records. In accordance with the statement released by Ben Goertzel, the CEO of SingularityNET:
“In applications like that, the robot needs to deal with medical records on the back end, and it needs to deal with potentially confidential information that elderly folks and medical patients can give her on the back end…This really makes use of the security of the Cardano platform.”
Ben Goertzel revealed at the Cardano Summit of the year 2021 that the affordances allowed by the Plutus smart contract platform would let his company do many interesting things that were not possible due to the limitations of Solidity.
Back in the month of September of the year 2020, SingularityNET made an announcement revealing that it is going to be the first major Ethereum-based project to at least partially migrate to the leading proof-of-stake blockchain.
