Certik Collaborates With Hyundai Subsidiary Hdac To Trace IoT Devices

Certik
Auditing firm Certik and Hyundai subsidiary Hdac have been working together to soon introduce Internet of Things (IoT) devices onto the blockchain.

Hdac is using its blockchain platform to integrate IoT devices with secured authentication, mapping, and machine-to-machine transactions happening in the blockchain network. 

Certik Initiates Partnership With Hdac

According to an official announcement, as soon as the blockchain engineering team of Certik finishes the auditing of the designs and codebase of Hdac, they would release it in the market.

Earlier, while Certik was auditing the codebase of Hdac, it gets to know that the latter has been planning to design a blockchain solution, and the Certik decided to seek out for formal collaboration with Hdac.

The source code that are accumulated together to develop software systems is the codebase. They are the general archive of the system.

Connie Ng, the marketing manager of Certik, while talking about its company’s partnership with Hdac in an email, mentioned, “Because of their [Hdac’s] future plans, we decided it would make sense to formally partner with one another as a public promise of Hdac’s focus on security and a symbol of CertiK’s ability to support larger enterprise-level solutions such as Hdac’s”.

Certik Co-Founder To Be Part Of Hdac’s Advisory Body

It has been reported that soon the co-founder of Certik, Ronghui Gu, would become the member of Hdac’s advisory board.

The CEO of Hyundai BS&C, Dae-sun Chung, founded Hdac Technology AG in the year 1993. Although Hyundai BS&C is the IT and construction arm of the car company, their target was largely fixated on the Internet of Things and Computer Software.

In October 2018, the crypto incubator wing Binance Labs lend its support to Certik in the form of millions of dollars funds. While in June 2019, Hdac the blockchain startup CasperLabs inked an MoU and entered into a strategic partnership for developing consensus mechanisms.

Regarding this partnership the CEO of ADAPtive Holdings Ltd., Mrinal  Manohar said that it is important to establish scalability without compromising decentralization for mass adoption.
