Crypto.com Expands Partnership With Australian Football League
Crypto.com Continues Expansion in the Sports Arena
According to an official announcement, the latest partnerships follow Crypto.com’s landmark five-year deal with the Australian Football League (AFL) signed two months prior in addition to becoming the Official Cryptocurrency Exchange and Official Cryptocurrency Trading Platform of AFL and AFLW.
Crypto.com stated that the company is “proud” that these partnerships extend both the Men’s and Women’s teams and announced the partnerships on International Women’s Day in line with the company’s support of women’s equality in sport and beyond.
Commenting on the development, Steven Kalifowitz, Chief Marketing Officer of Crypto.com, said:
“With the popularity and dynamic fanbase of the AFL, AFLW, and these clubs in particular, we are excited to forge deeper relationships with an important audience, engage and educate more consumers in cryptocurrency, and support these incredible teams as they accomplish so much on and off the field.”
The Australian Football league joins Crypto.com’s growing list of sponsorship deals now worth roughly $1.5 billion including the recently announced Formula 1® Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, in addition to partnering with the UFC, Philadelphia 76ers, European football powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain, and the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
