Lindholm is currently working as the Chief of Ranching Operation at BeefChain, a blockchain-based startup utilizing DLT technology in supply chains for the verification of beef and sheep supplies. He will begin his job as Wyoming’s policy director by the early of January 2021, just before Joe Biden’s presidential inauguration.
Lindholm had a lot to contribute as a crypto advocate in the Wyoming district as the former Wyoming State Representative and co-chair of the Wyoming Blockchain Task Force. Under his legislation, various pro-crypto legislation was passed to encourage the promotion of crypto businesses in the state. One of them being the utility Token Act and the Digital assets existing bill. These legislations helped in attracting crypto and blockchain businesses to operate in the state.
The notable of them being Kraken exchange being licensed to set the nation’s first cryptocurrency bank in the state. Even the creator of IOHK had opened a blockchain lab at the University of Wyoming for blockchain research.
Lindholm will now work under Lummis, Wyoming state’s first female U.S. Senator. Lummis had been always an advocate of Bitcoin having invested in the cryptocurrency from way back in 2013 when it was just over $300.
Cynthia Lummis plans to make Bitcoin more visible in the upper chamber of Congress. She further said she will use her time to educate other senators about Bitcoin and all the ways it can be used alongside the dollar. She believes Bitcoin can not only help in reducing the national debt but overall improve the U.S. dollar’s buying power.
