The founder of Digibyte clarified that he is not painting everyone with the same brush but he's certain 90% of the people have lost their core values and all that interests them is making quick bucks when one of the coins they own reaches its peak. Jared Tate added that he's aware its the driving force but constantly seeing people benefit themselves over the greater good of the community-made him feel sick.

Tete added that he has been used even by his close circle by people to make a quick profit and he doesn't want to participate on the day to day basis. He also added that even organization have reaped the short term first and when the time came to help Digibyte or contribute to the crypto ecosystem, they did not play their part.
The DigiByte founder also declared that he is not going away completely and he would still use the company's blockchain system to build apps. He also added that the network will survive and still progress cause of its merit and not because of his opinion.
Digibyte was launched in 2014 without an ICO and also a lack of any authority overseeing its operation, not even the founder and currently occupies the 34th spot after surging by 300% in April.
