Did Lil Uzi Just Rug-Pull on Eternal Beings NFT Project?

Lil Uzi-affiliated Eternal Beings NFT project has gone in a bad light after the 26-year old rapper deleted his promotional posts following the project’s launch on Sept. 28. With the NFT collections selling at 2.5 SOL mint price, it later crashed down to 1.67 SOL after the rapper cut himself off from the project.

This remains to be seen whether Uzi was just a paid promoter or was actually 100% behind the project.

With the rapper assuring in one of his now-deleted tweets that the NFTs could easily reach a floor price of 6 SOL, the crypto community went on a full-blown debate whether the Uzi’s move will lead him to be questioned by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Given how much involvement was behind the celebrity along with the additional promise of a fake price guarantee, the regulatory agency questioning the singer is only natural.

In the meantime, the 44,000 of the discord members of the NFT channel went on a full-blown panic mode with some claiming not to panic, as the “floor will be raised and big money will start to pour in.” and that “projects do not happen overnight.”

The team did apologize for the lack of professionalism while assuring that Lil Uzi Vert has only temporarily distanced himself from the project so that he could focus on the launch of his new album.

Celebrity Endorsement on the Cards

Eternal beings is a Solana-based NFT project with a collection of 11,111 generative alien avatars with a fashion sense similar to rapper Lil Uzi Vert. Based on the project’s roadmap, the team will reach out to more celebrity ambassadors along with an exclusive Lil Uzi Vert live performance, merchandise launch, and dropping a new collection of “Baby Uzi” NFTs.

In the meantime, the Eternal Beings Twitter account appears to have been suspended while the project’s Instagram account remains active.
