In a Twitter thread posted today, Flickto highlighted its recent partnership with Zoe pool, an African-based stake pool whose focus is on empowering women within the blockchain industry.
“By providing valuable education they want to give women the support they deserve, as they are the sparks we need. There’s raw talent still out there that can help push this space forwards,” Flickto 's twitter post read.
From the rewards acquired through the stake pool, the funds will be poured into educational programs to encourage the next-gen of African women and their role within the blockchain industry.
“The rise of women within the blockchain is overlooked, but it is imminent. For this reason, we will be working closely with the ZOE pool in raising awareness of their mission. With their extensive technical capabilities, the ZOE pool will be able to support us if necessary,” the announcement statement emphasized.
In a separate thread posted on International Women’s Day, Zoe Pool highlighted its commitment to build the necessary structures in an effort to pursue its mission.
“Women's History Month has a way of reminding us why it is we started this pool. The energy steaming from diverse communities of women is contagious. We would keep working to sponsor and support the inclusivity and growth of #womenintech and even transcending the tech,” the Africa-based stakepool network continued in its social media post.
