F1 Team Mercedes-AMG Petronas and the FTX crypto platform announced their alliance today and the availability of their unique and selected NFT collectibles at the Miami Grand Prix and other upcoming racing events this season.
The big launch of 1,000 limited edition free-to-claim NFT ticket stubs for people who want to see the NFT launch happening at the Miami Grand Prix and other races this year is on the horizon for FTX and F1 fans.
Other high-octane events will receive up to 2,500 free NFT ticket stubs. The complimentary stub collectibles will each have a unique and uncommon design to please fans. FTX is also considering alternative ways to expand the number of NFT applications for stub holders.
10 Limited-Edition F1 NFTs by Mad Dog Jones
For these races, FTX and the F1 team have teamed up with Mad Dog Jones, a well-known artist auctioning off over ten exclusive limited editions of Ethereum NFT artworks.
Two Mad Dog Jones NFT artworks include an actual rear wing endplate from the Mercedes cars piloted by daredevils George Russel and Lewis Hamilton.
The goal of the F1 Ethereum NFT launch in Miami, according to Lou Frangella, FTX VP of Partnerships, is to combine culture, art, and Formula One into one magnificent event.
They're desperate to make it big in Miami, which will almost certainly happen, especially for an event with such a unique lineup.
On May 6, bidding for the F1 NFT event will open, coinciding with the start of practice for the Miami Grand Prix. The auctions will continue through May 13.
Meanwhile, FTX and F1 will organize a physical NFT gallery where attendees can see and feel the artworks in person after seeing the fast-and-furious version on the tracks.
