GateHub Platform Announces Support For Spark Token

GateHub
GateHub, a trading platform and a multi-currency wallet, has just extended its support for the Spark token. Spark token is a native token of Flare Network and it will be now available on this XRP ledger-based platform. 

Here the users will be easily able to claim, deposit and trade their tokens against both the fiat currencies and all other digital assets. Enej Pungerčar, CEO of GateHub, has said that the firm is extremely excited for this collaboration with XRP’s utility fork.

GateHub Trying to Maintain Grip with Exchanges

This announcement by GateHub is coming shortly after the announcement made by Uphold. Uphold has also recently announced the support for the Spark token. Initially, it was seen that GateHub had only supported XRP when it was launched. Now it has extended its support for both storing and trading Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic and many other cryptocurrencies along with them. 

Back in 2019, the firm hasd also entered into a partnership with Coil, which is a Ripple-backed startup. This partnership was formed to set up a payment channel based on interledger for the web creators. In the starting of this year, the firm has also suffered a major hack in which around $10 million XRP had been stolen from around 100 wallets. Because of this, the firm has got a lot of negative publicity.

Flare Network Aims to Bring Smart Contracts

Back in November 2019 Flare network received a huge amount of investment from Ripple. It is now aiming to bring the smart contracts to the XRP ledger. The firm is also gaining a lot of popularity and buzz ever since it has announced the airdrop of FXRP tokens. It has also announced that the date for airdrop participants has been decided for the end of this year i.e. December 12, 2020.
