Rario is a cricket-specific NFT platform founded in 2021 that offers digital collectibles of athletes and leagues. Aaron Finch, Faf Du Plessis, Virender Sehwag, Zaheer Khan, and Smriti Mandhana are just a few of the more than 900 players the company claims to have collaborated with. To date, it has also sold over 150,000 NFTs.
Tendulkar stated that it is exciting to watch how NFT technology pulls sports fans closer to the action and enables them to cherish their favorite moments. He continued by saying the Rario team was dedicated to creating a cricket community professionally utilizing technology.
Rario, which secured $120 million in a Series A earlier this year, is supported by some well-known financiers, namely Dream Capital, Animoca Brands, and Kingsway Capital. Tendulkar's association investment in the business was deemed "surreal" by Rario co-founder and CEO Ankit Wadhwa. He remarked that it is a tribute to our objective of opening up fandom. In addition, Rario intends to provide specific tangible benefits in exchange for its NFTs, such as entrance to exclusive clubs, special discounts and offers on tournament tickets, and participation in ask-me-anything sessions.
After signing exclusive deals with well-known cricket players, including Aaron Finch, Faf du Plessis, Rishabh Pant, Virender Sehwag, and Zaheer Khan, Tendulkar is Rario's biggest catch.
