IOTA Foundation Partners With Jaguar To Launch New Product

IOTA Foundation
IOTA Foundation has recently formed a partnership with British car manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover, STMicroelectronics, and many other entities to launch a new product called IOTA Access. According to the blog post published by the foundation, other firms that it has teamed up with are RIDDLE&CODE, EDAG, ETO-Gruppe, BiiLabs, NTT DATA Romania. The first alpha version of IOTA Access was released by the foundation on September 30.

IOTA Foundation Aims to Enable Services, Securities on Large Scale

IOTA Access could be understood as an open-source framework that helps to provide dedicated access control. It is revealed that the main motto of this project by the IOTA Foundation is “never trust, always check.” The major focus of the foundation is to enable both services and securities on a large scale. It believes that the application scenarios are extremely diverse and extensive.

As IOTA Access is going to provide different services to the users, WiFi routers could also be seen as another use case of the product. The users will be able to monetize it without even any need for a subscription from another organization.

There Will Be Integration With Other IOTA Product in Future

As per the announcement made by the IOTA Foundation, it is also revealed that in the future, there might be an integration with Other products as well. Currently, the major focus of IOTA Access is solely on the automotive industry. The company mentioned that this product will be installed in Jaguar cars because of its partnership with the foundation. Dominik Schiener, the co-founder of IOTA, has said “with IOTA Access, we have to focus on getting more to the consumer. You want to be able to use your phone to access anything. Our phones should be our personal keys.”
