MoneyGram has been a handful and has shown stern desire to evolve its digital capacity. When it entered a vital partnership with Ripple Labs big gun Ripple Labs, it was considered in the eyes of many as a game-changer blockbuster deal which would benefit the stakeholders substantially.
However, the success of the deal was called into question, and a few eyebrows were raised when Moneygram in its Q4 financial report when it was pointed out that Ripple paid it just $8.9 million in profits.
