Moonbirds NFT Records $280M in Sales Only Four Days After Launch
A new Ethereum-based NFT project, Moonbirds has generated approximately $292 million worth of sales in just four days after its launch, rising to the top of NFT trading volume charts. The debut puts Moonbirds on top of OpenSea’s volume leaderboard not just for the week, but for the last 30 days, ahead of Azuki (50,000 ETH) and Bored Ape Yacht Club (35,000 ETH).
The NFT was sold out at a mint price of 2.5 ETH, which is roughly around $7700 at current ETH prices. However, the floor price quickly climbed and is currently sitting at 19.8 ETH, or nearly $59,000.
The Moonbirds Project has taken a similar approach to Bored Apes Yacht Club, launching utility-focused NFTs and granting NFT holders access to exclusive events, collaborations, and discord group chats.
The project’s roadmap states that holders will receive early access to future drops, merchandise, membership club, and early access planned Metaverse platform called “Project Highrise.”
