Motorcycle manufacturing company Ducati is going to launch its first <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/nft-domains-the-new-dot-com-frenzy/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">NFT</a> collection on Ripple's XRP <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/glossary#ledger-">Ledger</a> in partnership with NFT PRO, a corporate white-label NFT solution for global brands.
<h2>Ducati - Latest Brand To Foray Into Web3</h2>
According to an announcement from Ripple, Ducati is foraying into Web3 via Ripple in partnership with <a href="https://www.web3pro.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">NFT PRO</a>. The company says its partnership with NFT Pro "confirms the importance of the digital world" for the experiences it offers its fans.

Under the partnership agreement, a series of Web3 activities will be developed through the creation of new digital aggregation spaces, NFT collections, and opportunities to participate in other Web3-style activities using the Ripple blockchain.
<blockquote><em>"Upcoming Ducati projects will be deployed using Ripple, the leading blockchain partner providing technical support on the ultra-fast, low-cost, and carbon-neutral XRP Ledger (XRPL) blockchain,"</em> the motorcycle company wrote in a blog post.</blockquote>
Commenting on the development, Claudio Domenicali, Ducati CEO, said:

<h2>Ripple's Ongoing Battle With U.S. SEC</h2>
Meanwhile, <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/judge-denies-secs-motion-to-shield-hinman-documents-in-ripple-case/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ripple</a> is currently in the middle of a lawsuit with the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) after the regulatory agency accused the company of raising over $1.3 billion through an unregistered, ongoing digital asset securities offering.

The distributed ledger company, however, has fought the charges made by the SEC, and the lawsuit is likely to end very soon.
