Over $1B in Crypto Liquidated from the Past 24 Hours

The total liquidations in the cryptocurrency market have reached above $1.1 billion as all assets have been dumped in a matter of hours. The cumulative valuation of all crypto assets yesterday in the market fell from $1.56 trillion to $1.35 trillion.

Its a Crypto Blood Bath Out There

According to data from Coinglass over 280,000 crypto traders were liquidated over the last 24 hours with total liquidations exceeding $1.6 billion.

The single largest liquidation order took place on cryptocurrency exchange BitMEX on a Bitcoin/U.S. dollar trading pair with the trader losing $6.3 million.

Bitcoin and Ethereum traders were the most affected, and their liquidations double-handedly, accounted for more than half of the aggregate figure. Occupying the third position, LUNA stood next to Ethereum.

Per data from Coinglass, Bitcoin positions worth $342 million were rekt over the past 24-hours, while Ethereum and Terra positions worth $318 million, $86 million were wiped out respectively.

At the time of writing, Bitcoin was trading at $31,31, Ethereum was trading at $2,358 and LUNA was trading at $28.66.
