In 2010, President Obama appointed Warren to the Overseas Private Investment Corporation Board of Directors, where he served on the Audit Committee for the next nine years. He also has had the role of director of the National Economic Council during the Clinton administration. Warren currently holds the position of managing director of global consulting firm Albright Stonebridge Group.
The executive joins Ripple bringing over 20 years of experience on international growth strategies, stakeholder management issues, and economic and geopolitical issues affecting global markets.
He is expected to help Ripple to expand its presence in global markets and propel the adoption of the company’s products as part of its growth strategy, amid the company’s ongoing dispute with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
