Following the contribution of tens of millions of dollars worth of cryptocurrencies to aid the Ukrainian people and military over the course of the previous week, the cryptocurrency community has continued to rally behind the country as contributions pour in.

Today, Ripple Labs, a currency exchange based in the US and creator of XRP, a native cryptocurrency for products, announced that it had made a contribution to the Kyiv School of Economics humanitarian relief effort by donating $500,000 in XRP to assist the country, while also urging people to donate through an XRP address that it provided.

The donation is expected to be used for the provision of 5,000 emergency first aid kits as well as food and medication to Ukrainians in need.

Ripple has recently been making news headlines. Recently, the payment giant revealed that the first group of independent artists to receive financing for their NFT initiatives under its $250 million Creator Fund had been identified.
