The American music and entertainment magazine, Billboard took to Twitter to announce the news.
In the virtual music video, Dogg appears as a voxel avatar, and the video also features Steve Aoki and Blondish. The video is produced by VoxEdit and Game Maker which are the content creation tools of the Metaverse.
In a recent statement, Snoop Dogg said,
"The ‘House I Built’ track draws a parallel between how I’ve constructed my life and career and how I’m building out my Snoopverse virtual world in The Sandbox. Whether in the Metaverse or the universe, it’s about keeping it real, being yourself, and making the most of every opportunity."
Snoop Dogg has also been making plans about his debut Metaverse concert which will be held in The Sandbox Metaverse.
CEO and co-founder of The Sandbox, Arthur Madrid also stated,
"We are building a new entertainment platform where artists, talents of all kinds, and brands can access a new generation of consumers that own and collect digital properties like LAND and digital memorabilia moments.”
Madrid further stated that Snoop Dogg is also in the plans of constructing the Snoopverse, where his avatar will be performing exclusive concerts for his fans. He assures crypto enthusiasts and Dogg fans that there is more to be unpacked.
