The Killbox
2021 has been the year of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). Since around April, the NFTs have seen a massive uptick in their popularity and many people in the Crypto community have come to adopt this technology. This spike in adoption was evident when in August, the popular NFT Marketplace OpenSea saw over 300 million transactions carried out in a single day on its platform. That volume of transactions ensured that $3 billion of digital collectibles was sold on OpenSea that month. According to JPMorgan, the rally NFTs have gone through this year has positively affected Altcoins that facilitate smart contracts. This has made blockchain games a lucrative option for gamers that are looking to earn extra cryptocurrencies (that they can change to fiat) and test out their gaming skills.
