In a statement posted to its website on Monday, VeChain announced the agreement. It adds to the most recent collaborations the blockchain provider has approved over the past summer. VeChain announced cooperation with OrionOne on August 10.
Businesses want to smoothly incorporate the service into routine operations as the blockchain industry expands. Since TruTrace and the VeChain ToolChain are directly connected, TruTrace can guarantee product quality and authenticity. It will be a quick and straightforward approach to implementing blockchain technology. Additionally, it won't require expensive network infrastructure or coin management expenses.
The largest chain of retail pharmacies in Canada, Shoppers Drug Mart, employs the TruTrace platform as the foundation of its technological infrastructure for traceability and accountability related to its medicinal cannabis program.
Galarza, CEO of TruTrace stated,
"When we began the development of TruTrace, our mission was to serve as an interconnected blockchain-secured product registry and traceability solution which could bring all stakeholders together and track and manage variabilities from batch to batch and lot to lot,"
The newly updated TruTrace platform featuring VeChain will be available from September 1, 2022.
