This collaboration between Ukraine's Varus supermarket chain and Binance, the leading crypto exchange by daily trading volume, will enable Ukrainian consumers to buy groceries and other items online with virtual money.
Customers may take advantage of speedy cryptocurrency payments and quick delivery in nine Ukrainian cities, including the capital Kyiv, Dnipro, Kamianske, Kryvyi Rih, Zaporizhzhia, Brovary, Nikopol, Vyshhorod, and Pavlograd, using the Binance and Varus applications.
Users must download and install the Binance application on their Android or iOS phones to use the payment option. Then, they can visit the Varus website, choose the items they wish to purchase and send the virtual currency using their Binance Pay wallet.
In August, Whitepay launched cryptocurrency payments for goods sold by significant Ukrainian tech retailers. The payment mechanism created by Whitebit, a European cryptocurrency exchange with Ukrainian roots, is now available to customers of merchants like Tehnoezh and Stylus.

The SSU said that a member of the Russian Federation had shut down a cryptocurrency wallet used to finance Russia's military assault in Ukraine. The person who claimed to be a volunteer has been raising money for the Russian military since the invasion started.
