Venture Capitalist Tim Draper Invested $1M into Aragon Blockchain Project

Billionaire venture capitalist, Tim Draper has purchased 1 million ANT tokens, worth about $823,000 in order to join the governance structure of Aragon. Aragon aims to make it easier for blockchain-native communities, to settle their wrangles since it's becoming hard and takes time to settle such disputes in traditional courts.

Moving forward, blockchain technology seems to be targeting the legal system as the next in line to be digitized. In addition, Aragon network develops and manages Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs). The firm is also developing the first blockchain-based court jurisdiction to patch up relationships in case of a dispute in the world of decentralized organisations.

Moreover, Aragon network is an open-source software project that will allow participants world over, to interact through decentralized organizations. Argon users will engage in a common course. They will be involved in decision making and administration. This system will settle disputes in the same way the traditional court system does; through a voting process.

Additionally, Tim Draper is a huge figure in the cryptocurrency and blockchain community. The infamous Bitcoin advocate has made the headline on several occasions for his activities surrounding the decentralized world. Back in 2014, Draper purchased 30,000 Bitcoins during a government auction of the Silk Road dark web seizures, making him even wealthier.

Participants can Use ANT Tokens or DAI to Settle Disputes

Indeed, the Aragon blockchain-based court system is now live on the Aragon mainnet. ANT investors can participate in decision making using ANT tokens or even DAI by MakerDAO. The team behind Aragon has gone on to publish a manifesto since its blockchain project seems more realistic than many other projects.

In conclusion, an Executive Director of Aragon Associate; Luis Cuende commented on the Aragon network and the significance of Drapers involvement. He said:

“Aragon aims to become the internet’s de facto jurisdiction, and Aragon Court is its backbone. We are extremely excited to work with Tim. If there is someone who can advise on building a new jurisdiction, it’s Tim.”
