The Sandbox, one of the largest Ethereum-based metaverse game platforms, has partnered with WazirX, India's largest cryptocurrency exchange by transaction volume, to launch a "learn and earn" campaign. The Sandbox's recently released Alpha Season 3 will be free to attend for the top five winners of the campaign, according to a press statement from WazirX.

 

Sandbox to Unveil ‘Learn & Earn’ Campaign

The statement states that players must trade at least 10 SAND and respond to 10 questions on The Sandbox Alpha. According to the announcement, Alpha Season 3 offers more than 90 solo and multiplayer activities. According to the announcement, winners will receive Alpha credentials and a chance to win 500 SAND tokens. According to the statement, WazirX held a peer-to-peer contest in June as part of its "learn and earn" promotion. The tournament attracted over 8,000 participants, and the winners received WazirX's token, WRX, worth 200 Indian rupees ($2.5).

Recently, WazirX has made headlines due to a dispute over ownership with Binance and inquiries by India's financial crime-fighting agency, which permitted WazirX to continue banking activities last week.

 

ED Unfrozen WazirX's Bank Accounts After Investigation

Following a nearly one-month hiatus, WazirX announced on September 12 that the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) had unfrozen its bank accounts. According to the WazirX website, it is a platform for buying, selling, and trading cryptocurrency assets, including Bitcoin, Ether, Litecoin, and others. The US-based cryptocurrency exchange Binance effectively disowned WazirX due to the ED inquiry, which delivered a severe blow to the Indian company.
