Blocknative Raises $15 Million for Ethereum Block Building Market

Blocknative fundraising
Web3 infrastructure provider Blocknative has secured $15 million in Series A-1 financing. The activities of Blocknative in the Ethereum ecosystem's block-building market would be expedited by the fundraising, which was spearheaded by Blockchain Capital, Foundry Group, Rho, IOSG Ventures, Robot Ventures, Fenbushi Capital, HackVC, and other investors.

Blocknative Gateway and Contributions

One of Ethereum's most significant block builders is Blocknative. Block builders are independent service providers who decide which transactions are incorporated into blocks and in what sequence. Since September 15, when Ethereum underwent "the Merge" to switch to a proof-of-stake consensus system, the Web3 infrastructure provider's gateway and block builders have contributed over 17,000 blocks to the Ethereum blockchain.

Strategic Position For Block Building

According to a news statement from Blocknative CEO and co-founder Matt Cutler, with this additional fundraising round, Blocknative is strategically positioned to aggressively pursue the block-building potential and assist in the creation of fair value repatriation throughout the entire Web3 transaction supply chain.

In addition, Cutler said that the Web3 infrastructure provider continues to remain dedicated to contributing substantially to the Web3 ecosystem via authentic exposure to pre-chain data, enhanced transaction openness, and web-scale infrastructure availability at each and every block as the world moves more and more on-chain.
