Considered one of the most influential first-person shooter games in history, Counter-Strike has grown a large community that is competitive and has grown to be synonymous with first-person shooters. There is, however, a new kid (re: game) on the block(chain) — pun intended. This new game is NAKA Strike.
NAKA Strike is a first-person shooter game where the players are divided into two opposing teams and they get to battle each other for rights to control territories. NAKA Strike is created by Nakamoto Games, a gaming company that offers gamers all over the world the opportunity to take part in countless blockchain-based games and earn a sustainable and sizable income from playing these games.
Nakamoto Games recently announced the unveiling of the first NAKA Strike Tournament which is in tandem with the company's mission to give gamers worldwide the opportunity to earn income that can affect their real-life finances, by just doing what they love. This tournament will be the inaugural NAKA Strike tournament and it is scheduled to run from March 1 through March 20th with a prize pool of $10,000 as a reward for the top players.
This tournament will have on display a highly competitive knockout format which is expected to deliver extraordinary fun to the players. The NAKA Strike tournament is designed to serve as an incentive for players to take part in NAKA Strike, see it as a better alternative to the traditional Counter-Strike and help attract new gamers to the Nakamoto Games ecosystem.
Even though Counter-Strike has been around for over two decades, and has sold millions of units, I think NAKA Strike is a better option for gamers at the moment. My reason is simple. With NAKA Strike, you get to earn gaming tokens that can be withdrawn and converted to real-life fiat. This way, you're not only playing a gaming model that you love, but you're also earning from what you enjoy doing. I don't think anything can beat that.
With Counter-Strike, at the end of each round, you only get rewarded based on your performance and you're rewarded only with in-game currency. This currency can only be spent on upgrading to more powerful weapons for subsequent rounds. Also, you only earn more in-game currency if you win more rounds and complete different gaming objectives like killing enemy players.
Registration for the NAKA Strike tournament begins from February 23 to February 28 and interested players can visit the tournament page here to register. To be eligible for this tournament though, you need to have at least 10 game tickets and to have carried out at least five transactions in any of the games within the Nakamoto Games ecosystem with their selected Polygon Web3 wallet.
There will be a pre-qualification round where registered users will be enrolled and they have to score points for playing the NAKA Strike game. Out of these players, the best 64 players will be selected to participate in a knockout format that is made up of five rounds. These rounds include the Round of 32, Round of 16, Round of 8, Round of 4 and the finale.
The $10,000 prize pool allocated for rewards in the NAKA Strike tournament will be split between three winners. The Gold winner ($6,000 USDT), the Silver winner ($3,000 USDT), and the Bronze winner ($1,000).
