With Over $10m In Users, Bitkeep Has Been Hacked Twice

Bitkeep
Web3 DeFi decentralized multi-chain wallet BitKeep announced that the total number of users had surpassed 10 million since April. The company has seen tremendous growth since surviving numerous hacks. In March alone BitKeep added 560000 new user accounts as a result of several successful campaigns between the company and several major blockchains including Arbitrum and Sui.

Arbitrum Campaign Success for BitKeep

BitKeep reported that the ARBK Arbitrage campaign was successfully launched recording a total of 708800 on-chain transactions and over 100000 active users participating in campaign-related activities. Participants of the ARBK campaign will be able to exchange the ARB Referee for local standards during the campaign. In addition, it ranks first in the popular Arbitrary ecosystem chart. BitKeep is also successful when it comes to NFTs. The wallet provider claims that BitKeeps NFT market tops the BNB blockchain transaction volume while Polygon also tops the number of active wallets. Meanwhile, BitKeep has revealed the work of the Web3 DID (Distributed Identity).

Rebranding after hacks

The hacker took $1 million in BNB from the BitKeep wallet as a result of an exploit. The assault was brought out through help that empowered symbolic trades. After that, it promised to compensate each victim. Bitget, a crypto copy trading platform, announced plans to rebrand the crypto wallet service as "Bitget Wallet" and led a $30 million fundraising effort for BitKeep.
