World's First Mummy Themed NFT Conquers Two Major Hurdles Within First 100 Days

World's first Mummy themed NFT
With its wacky digital artworks that incorporate surprise historical twists, Bored Mummy Waking Up (BMWU) is sweeping the market by storm. BMWU has begun to create history in the NFT world in just three months after its official launch on August 8th, 2021, with a total sales volume of 3,300 ETH and the highest sales record of 10 ETH for a single BMWU sold. Within the first quarter of operation, the number of unique BMWU holders increased to 3,723.

World's First Mummy Themed NFT Bridles Two Major Hurdles

Despite its initial success, BMWU hit its first roadblock during the first month of operation, when a technical issue between its server and OpenSea arose. A week later, its Alicloud server was hacked and assaulted in a second incident. BMWU compensated all of the affected holders with around 200 ETH in total. It also transferred all of its metadata to IPFS as a precautionary step.

Given these terrible occurrences, Bored Mummy Waking Up quickly recovered from the losses and set out to improve customer happiness. In addition to the substantial remuneration, it launched the Gratitude Drop and the Halloween Drop, which were created to give back to the community and as a show of appreciation for their unwavering love, support, and commitment.

BMWU formally entered the Metaverse on September 12th, after winning five estate plots in The Sandbox's Walking Dead auction. Furthermore, it is now working in The Sandbox on 3D mummy avatars as well as a social hub to mark its initial steps into Metaverse exploration. On October 10th, it purchased six more pieces of land in Cryptovoxel, which would be transformed into small virtual villages to allow the BMWU community to display their artworks or products to the rest of the globe.

What the Future Holds for BMWU Non-Fungible Tokens

Bored Mummy Waking Up hopes to develop a healthy, expanding network of NFT aficionados from all over the world in the near future. Many exciting events are planned for the coming months, including public sales for the highly anticipated BMWU Pyramid Drop, a community-driven Maker Drop, and the unveiling of its 3D Avatar in The Sandbox.

According to the founder of Bored Mummy Waking Up, Louivee:

"We have many exciting plans in the pipeline for the Bored Mummy NFT, such as the Pyramid Drop and the Maker Drop which will be launched in December this year. Furthermore, everyone should also keep an eye out for our one-of-a-kind 3D avatars which can be used in virtual games in The Sandbox."
"On behalf of Bored Mummy Waking Up, I'd like to thank everyone for their unceasing support and trust. We sincerely believe in the importance of giving back to the community and society. This has propelled us to engineer our future development innovatively by keeping the BMWU community at the core of everything we do. For instance, we are in the process of building a virtual mummy town for our community in Cryptovoxels, as well as a social hub exclusively for our members who own our avatars in The Sandbox," he further added.

Although being a newcomer to the NFT market, Bored Mummy Waking Up has uncovered limitless possibilities by putting its community first and listening to their wants and concerns on a regular basis. This allows the company to shape and improve its unique services while staying on top of the current NFT trends. It wants to thrive in the digital artwork sphere for the foreseeable future by sticking to this sustainable approach.
