The data claimed by XRP Forensics underlines the fact that these coins were ‘stolen’ in the form of giveaway schemes that popped up in December 2020. Some of those giveaway schemes were reported to start even a year earlier. The stolen coins are reported to shift into the digital exchanges namely Kraken and KuCoin.

According to the data records, there are over 3.6 million XRP stolen in the crypto scam offers. The scam took place via multiple websites that use false tricks to attract investor’s attention.
As per the company's assessment, the approximate count of investors that are being scammed out of their XRP is 460. This number includes investors of the crypto exchanges namely Bitstamp, Coinbase, Binance, Kraken, and many others.
The KuCoin support team on Monday communicated with the XRP Forensics support team. The official tweet reads:
