MUNCH, a DeFi-based charity token, is launching a new initiative dubbed ‘Charity Circle’ to encourage DeFi projects to contribute to global charity causes. Using the Ethereum blockchain to Munch’s smart contract, all charity proceeds are tracked on the MUNCH blockchain and confirmed by the charity partners.
The platform has already donated more than $3 million to various community-chosen charitable causes as revealed in the announcement release:
Commenting on the announcement, Munch COO, Mike Si said:
Besides the charity initiative, MUNCH is also introducing its own Fiat to Crypto service to enable the direct purchase of any given ERC20 or BEP20 token using a credit or debit card, directly from the MUNCH website. This will enable users to buy the MUNCH token directly from the site while encouraging donations in Fiat via their upcoming charity platform.
Meanwhile, the platform will charge transaction fees for using the blockchain and will charge a small additional transaction fee that will go back towards marketing and developing MUNCH.
