A staggering transfer of nearly three trillion Shiba Inu (SHIB) tokens has garnered significant attention within the crypto community. Blockchain tracker Whale Alert reported the movement of 2,884,590,622,344 SHIB tokens, valued at approximately $65.7 million. The transaction originated from BTCTurk, Turkey’s second-largest centralized cryptocurrency exchange, and was sent to an unidentified wallet.

Despite the speculation surrounding this event, BTCTurk clarified, “these transfers are fully managed by us, and there is nothing out of the ordinary.”

The SHIB movement wasn't the only notable activity from BTCTurk. Whale Alert also identified three significant Ethereum (ETH) transactions: 23,285 ETH, 20,000 ETH, and another 20,000 ETH, collectively valued at $220 million.

BTCTurk explained that these transactions were part of their “wallet optimization efforts.” However, speculation persists among crypto enthusiasts, with some questioning whether the transfers indicate potential security issues. BTCTurk reassured users via social media that the transfers were internal and aligned with routine operations.
